Our awesome community ally, Hyphen Magazine, will host their annual Mr. Hyphen competition on November 5 at the Brave Theater in San Francisco. Mr. Hyphen is a beauty pageant for Asian American men – but men who are community-minded and competing to win $1,000 for a nonprofit of their choice. It’s always a fun event and showcases the love and togetherness people have for their community. CAA is proud to co-sponsor this event again this year. Details are below.

Mr. Hyphen will be hosted by artist/comedian D’Lo. The judging panel includes Huffington Post’s Wajahat Ali, SF Supervisor Jane Kim, Ms. GAPA 2011 Maveric Vu (a.k.a. Lychee Minnelli) and Hyphen’s own Lanlian Szeto.
