For almost four decades CAA has fought for Asian and Pacific American civil and political rights. Today our work is as important as ever, so please consider joining us in the fight for equality by making a financial contribution to CAA. You'll receive updates on CAA's work on important community issues and invitations to participate in key activities, including our annual membership meeting in the beginning of the year. Your commitment and support will help guarantee our civil rights and promote social change.
Give Online
Please make a credit card gift by filling out our secure online form. These contributions are regarded as cash gifts. CAA receives 100% of all VISA/MC credit card gifts made online. Credit card transactions are processed by Local Independent Charities and LIC ORG will appear on credit card statements. To make your donation online, please click here.
Cash Gift
A gift of cash is the most common form of charitable gift. Checks should be made payable to CAA and sent to 17 Walter U. Lum Place, San Francisco, CA 94108. Our main office is in San Francisco's Chinatown and gifts can be dropped off as well.
Matching Gifts
Matching gifts are extremely important because they enable donors to double or even triple their contributions to CAA. Many businesses and corporations will match gifts made by their employees. If you, your spouse, or partner work for a company with a Matching Gifts Program, please obtain a matching gift form from your company's Human Resources or Personnel Department, complete the necessary information, and enclose it with your donation. We will certify the receipt of your gift, and return the form to your company. The total value of your matching gift will be recognized.
Securities and Real Estate
Gifts of common stocks, bonds, mutual funds or other appreciated securities provide an income tax deduction (equal to the fair market value at the date of transfer) and, in most cases, eliminate capital gains taxes.
In-Kind Gifts
Financial donations are the best way to support CAA but we are also in need of many office and technology items to help us effectively serve our clients and advocate for community concerns.
CAA is grateful for any in-kind tech donations that are no more than 2 years old.
Our wish list includes:
Color Laserjet printer suitable for a small office network
B/W Laserjet printer
Digital Camera
17" or more flatpanel LCD Monitors
Thank you for considering CAA. For more information or to schedule a donation drop-off/pick-up, please contact Laura Ma, Development Coordinator, at 415.274.6750 or lma@caasf.org.
